Padmavati is known as the great Indian queen of the 13th-14th centuries.  


The earliest source to mention the life of Rani Padmavati is believed to be an epic called "Padmavat" written by the 16th-century Sufi-poet Malik Mohammad Jaisi.  

This epic was written in 1540 AD in Awadhi language.  

However, there is no evidence that Padmavati exists and most modern historians have rejected the existence of the 13th century queen Padmavati.

At the same time, a hunter caught the parrot and sold it to a Brahmin.The Brahmin sold the parrot to Ratan Singh, the king of Chittor.Because Raja Ratan Singh was greatly influenced by the activities of that parrot.That parrot (Hiramani) praised the beauty of Rani Padmavati in front of King Ratan Singh, after which King Ratan Singh became anxious to meet Padmavati.  

Due to which Raja Ratan Singh decided to marry Rani Padmavati and crossed the seven seas with his sixteen thousand soldiers and proceeded towards the Sinhala kingdom.

When Raja Ratan Singh with his sixteen thousand soldiers invaded the Sinhala Empire, Raja Ratan Singh suffered defeat and was later imprisoned.
As Ratan Sen was about to be hanged, the Royal Bard of his empire told the people present there that Ratan Sen was actually the king of Chittor.  

After hearing this, Gandharva Sen decided to marry Padmavati with Ratan Singh and at the same time got the marriage of sixteen thousand soldiers along with Ratan Sen, with sixteen thousand Padminis of Sinhala Empire.
Soon, Ratan Sen receives a message from a messenger bird that his first wife Nagmati is returning to Chittor for King Ratan Sen.  

After receiving this message, Ratan Sen immediately decided to return to Chittor.  On the way to Chittor, the sea god decides to punish Ratan Sen for causing him immense pride to win the world's most beautiful woman.  However, Ratan Sen reveals his grief to the sea god in Chittor, eventually the sea god returns him to Chittor.

Raja Rawal Ratan Singh was adept at ran skills and politics.His grand court was filled with more than one Mahavira warriors.The military power and martial arts of Chittor were widely known.

A composer named Raghav Chetan was very famous in Chittor state.  Maharaj Rawal Ratan Singh considered him very much, that's why Raghav Chetan was given a special place in the court.  

The people of Chittor and the king there did not know that in those days, Raghav Chetan knows magic and magic in addition to the art of music.  It is said that Raghav Chetan used this black power to defeat the enemy and prove his work.  

One day while Raghav Chetan was doing some of his tantric work, he was caught red-handed and presented to Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.  Hearing all the evidence and the plea of ​​the complainant, Maharaj found Raghav Chetan guilty and immediately blackened his mouth and sat on a donkey and drove him out of the country.  

Raghav Chetan wanted to take revenge on his insults and being banished from the state.  Now there was only one goal of his life and that was the complete destruction of Rawal Ratan Singh, the Maharaja of Chittor.  With this objective he moved to the state of Delhi.  

His motive for going there was to provoke his vengeance by provoking the king of Delhi, Alauddin Khilji, by invading Chittor.  

In the 12th and 13th centuries, the throne of Delhi was ruled by Alauddin Khilji.  It was not so easy to meet the Emperor of Delhi in those days.  

That is why Raghav Chetan started his camp in a forest near Delhi, because he knew that Alauddin Khilji, the king of Delhi, was fond of hunting and one day when Sultan Alauddin went to play hunting, he heard the melody of flute.  He was Raghav Chetan.  

Alauddin Khilji immediately summons Raghav Chetan to him and offers to show his skills by coming to the Raj Durbar.  That is when the clever Raghav Chetan tells Alauddin Khilji - What would you get by adopting an ordinary artist like me by adorning the state court, if you want to achieve it, then look towards other rich states where more than one prized jewel exists  

It is also easy to win and achieve them. Alauddin Khilji immediately asks Raghav Chetan to explain his point clearly instead of extinguishing puzzles.  

Then Raghav Chetan opens the secret of the military power of the Chittor kingdom, the security of the Chittor stronghold and the wealth there, and also recounts the amazing beauty of Rani Padmavati, the religious wife of King Rawal Ratan Singh.  

Knowing all these things, Alauddin Khilji makes up his mind to invade the Chittor kingdom and loot the property there, capture it and acquire Rani Padmavati.

He felt that such a beautiful queen should be in her palace.  

Sultan Khilji was desperate to get a glimpse of Rani Padmavati.  So after the siege of Chittorgarh Fort, Khilji sent a message to King Ratan Singh saying that he wanted to meet Rani Padmavati.  

After meeting him, he will leave from there.

Even reaching Ratan Singh's palace, Khilji could not see the face of the queen.  
Because according to the tradition, the queen did not show her mouth to any foreign man and lived in the veil.  Knowing this, Khilji urged Ratan Singh that he wanted to see Rani but Rani refused.  Ratan Singh explained to the queen that Khilji is the sultan of a very large empire.  

It would not be right to refuse them.  Knowing all this, the queen agreed, but the queen placed a condition that Khilji could see him in the mirror, in front of Ratan Singh and some maids.  

This condition was accepted by Khilji.  When Alauddin Khilji saw the beautiful face of Rani Padmavati in the glass image, he thought that Rani would be making Padmini his own.  

To send Alauddin back to his camp, when Ratan Singh was going to leave him outside, Khilji saw an opportunity and took Ratan Singh captive and demanded Padmavati.
